First time sick

We had croup first and then we ended up with a double ear infection. Things were rough around here for mom & Dad for a week or so. Doing much better now, but the pictures speak for themselves. All is better here now.

Grandpa Florida & Me

Grace & my dad. Since he lives in Florida this was the first time that he has gotten to see her. They were so cute together and had a great time getting to know eachother. Dad worked the whole time he was here on getting her to crawl!

8 Months Old

Worst Mom Ever

I know that I have not been updating this, we had my Dad here from Florida for 10 days and things have been crazy as always. Don't have that much free time anymore since Grace Marie decided that she is going to crawl all over the place. She doesn't just sit and quietly play anymore. I promise that I will get to this this weekend and it get some new pictures on here since Today will be her 8th month with us!!! I can't believe it has been that long already. This is about 1/2hr before we left the lake to come home. Grace was a little upset. She really just wanted to eat, but it is cute to say that she was crying cause it was time to come home. Look at that face!!!

Standing Again & Again

Hi everyone. This picture is about two weeks old, but it is the last that I had taken of Miss Grace. I know, I know, I take a million, but for some reason over the last two weeks, everything has gotten away from me. Will sit her down today and take new ones. She has changed so much just since this picture was taken. Eating baby food is going wonderful for her. She is great with a spoon and always trying to grab it to get more faster!! Jeremy calls her a piggy. Aunt Sheryl said she is is Waite since she likes to eat so much. That is true. I think I feed her more then anyone else in this house. With Derik here, that is a lot since he eats almost constantly. Everything is great here. Daddy got a new job!! We are all very excited for him. He will start working at Spectrum the week of the 27th. Right after we get back from vacation at Silver Lake. Our vacation, oh I can't wait to get away for a few days. Not sure how Grace will handle being away from her daily routine, but it has to happen sometime. Kids are really excited about seeing Grandma and Grandma Great for a whole week. Will get the new pictures on ASAP. I promise. Will have to see if I can get her to sit still long enough to get some. We are standing almost all the time now and sitting is no fun!! Hope everyone is well.

Standing Tall

For those of you who have not seen this, Grace hates to sit and wants to be standing as much as possible. She loves her walker, but she also likes it when you help her stand. Can't tell from that smile can you? We are almost 5 months old. Can you believe it?

My first Cereal

This is Grace's first attempt at baby food. Oatmeal to be exact. She pushed it out at first, but got the hang of it in the end. Going to be working on it everyday now trying to get towards real baby food. Look at that face!! MESSY MESSY

4 Month Checkup

HI there everyone. Just wanted to update you all on Grace. She went to the Dr today. 13 lbs 6 oz. 24 1/2 inches. Growing well he said. She rolled over for him and she was trying to stand. She just wants to get up and go. Talking a mile a mintue, though it makes no sense. Had 4 shots, so it is slowing her down a bit today and she is sleeping a lot more then usual. Tomorrow we will be back to our old self. Hope this finds you all well.

Almost 4 months old

We are just a few days away from being 4 months old and I took this Picture on Wednesday. Grace is trying to scoot with her feet to move while she is on her belly. Before too long we are going to be on the move.

Summertime

Hi everyone! Just checking in with you all. We are fully into the summer around here. Tori is off at church camp this week. I have been doing a lot of cleaning and emptying the JUNK out of this house. I can't believe how much you can collect over a years time!! Grace and I worked on the kids room today and got that finished, along with her room and ours, so the upstairs is free and clear of clutter. We spent Father's day in Jackson with the family. Got to see everyone so that was nice. Jeremy had a good day. The kids bought him a pink tee shirt that says DAD.... Tough enough to wear pink. Tori picked it out and said she had to get it for him. Will get a picture of him in it and post it here for all to see. Grandma Far Away was in town over the weekend also. She came in to take care of the kids while Jeremy and I went to a friends wedding Friday. It was nice to get out, just the two of us. Planning on it again this weekend. We are going to Jackson for Jeremy's cousin Kara's wedding. Grandma Hiler will be keeping Miss Grace for us. I think she is really looking forward to that time alone with her. Grace 3 Months Old

Growing & Growing Grace is 3 Months old this week and getting stronger by the day. She is trying to lift her head up when she is sitting and laying down. I think she really wants to move around like she sees everyone else doing. Not sure on the weight, since we don't go to the Dr this month, but I am sure that in July when we go for her 4 month that she will be about 15 pounds. She is eating great, sleeping awesome and enjoying everything. Grace is a happy baby, as you can see from the picture. I took this the other night at Tori's softball game. She likes to be outside.

One Month Checkup

HI everyone! Just an update on Grace. We went to the Dr today for our one month check up. weight was 9lbs 8oz lenght was 21 3/4. Growing very well and getting stronger by the day. She is lifting her head when laying on her belly and looking around. Everything is great here. Few new pictures I added below from this weekend. Our love to you all.

One Month Old

Grace is one month old today. Hard to believe for me that she is that old since I have been with her everday. Time sure does fly. She is getting so big. Going to Dr on Monday, will give you an update on weight then.

Enjoying a little Tummy Time

HI everyone!! We went to the Dr this morning for our two week check up. Grace weighed in at 8lbs. 2oz. 20 inches long. Dr said she is doing great, that she is a strong girl and he is happy with her progress. She is getting quite chubby in her cheeks as you can see in this picture. She is sleeping well and having more awake time. We are really enjoying her.
